Hi! I am Terry Smith, a.k.a. Wisergeezer, a certified life coach who works entirely online with men, women and teens 16 years+. My clients want to make wiser choices, identify their purpose and direction in life and would like help identifying and following through with goals. 

Clients who meet with me grow in personal resiliency, learn how to understand personal stress, change, and transition in multiple areas, and learn to understand what they can and cannot control in conflict management and resolution. I also guide professionals’ growth in leadership and management, as well as how to overcome compassion fatigue.

After journeying in the non profit world for over 20 years and navigating the world as a disciple of Christ for more than 40 years, the Lord has directed me to Life Coaching – an opportunity to use my experiences, training, and insights for others.

As a Christian, I view human beings and their choices, affections and struggles through a Biblical lens. I believe that God loves humanity and all of His Creation and that His wisdom is woven into the fabric of the world. Putting His wisdom into use gives all of us a better life.

For those who don’t hold the same spiritual views, I have been very successful communicating and supporting their journey. Anyone can access wisdom and make a beautiful life for themselves and others.

Importantly, I am also a certified Trauma Informed Coach. All of my coaching is conducted through the lens that is sensitive to the impact of trauma on you and others. I understand and use tools that support you to learn what trauma/stress is, how your body is impacted and how to regulated yourself during times of stress so that You can be your best You.

Appointments and Availability

I am based in the Arizona desert city of Phoenix but work entirely remotely. I can meet you at your convenience through Joshua Tree Counseling and Coaching. I am currently accepting new clients   Monday-Friday (early morning and evening times available) and on Saturdays, 7am – noon.  Curious about what to expect during life coaching sessions?
